Indian Association of Poland
While there are 1380,000 Hindus in Europe in 2010, which is only 0.2% of the population of the continent, in Poland Indian community comprises around 15,500 Indians. Indians started migrating to Poland in the late 80’s and early 90’s when the political situation changed and new opportunities started to emerge. The Indian Association of Poland is the organization which brings Indians and Polish people together by organizing various cultural events in Poland. The Indian community in Poland enjoys a good reputation. Indians are considered hard studying, non-political and peaceful.
Indians in Wroclaw
There are around 300 Indians in Wroclaw, most of them working in IT or accounting plus a few students. The companies who have most Indian employees are Nokia, Credit-Suisse and IBM.
